Bakers’ Health: A Priority That Is Taught from School. 🥖🛡️
Reducing flour dust is becoming a key prevention focus. It is a recognized cause of respiratory conditions (rhinitis, occupational asthma) and skin disorders.
To take concrete action at the source, the French Health Insurance – Occupational Risks (Assurance Maladie – Risques professionnels) offers a subsidy called “Flour Dust” in France. Laboratories such as Lempa have been working on this topic for several years to identify sources of dust and conduct tests on equipment to reduce their impact.
👥 Who is it for?
It is intended for companies with 1 to 49 employees.
🎯 Objective:
Reduce employee exposure by funding equipment that emits less dust and appropriate extraction solutions.
🛠️ Funded Equipment:
• pétrins et batteurs-mélangeurs à capot plein,
• diviseuses à faible émission,
• aspirateurs adaptés aux poussières de farine,
• farineurs manuels ou automatiques.
💰 Amount of the grant:
70% of the investment (excluding VAT), from €500 up to €25,000.
